Find the last day to cancel every contract
Open or paste your contract list. CancelBy works out each notice deadline and gives you a calendar file of reminders. Your list never leaves this page.
How to check that your list stays on your computer
- This page does not send your list anywhere. It keeps working with Wi-Fi turned off, so you can test that yourself.
- The page's security policy blocks network requests. Anyone reviewing it can find
connect-src 'none'near the top of the file. - Nothing is saved in your browser. When you close the page the list is gone, so download your results to keep them.
1. Add your contracts
In Excel, use Save As and pick CSV. The file opens on this page only.
You need at least three columns: a contract or vendor name, an end date or renewal date, and a notice period such as "60 days". You can copy cells straight from a spreadsheet.
2. Check the columns
We matched your columns by their names. Change any match that is wrong.
You need a term end date or a renewal date. If you have both, CancelBy uses the term end date.
Time for sign-off and delivery. Your act-by date is the deadline minus this many business days. The default is 5.
Numbers separated by commas. You also get a reminder on the act-by date and on the deadline itself.

Rows that need attention
Fix these in your source list, then read it again. Rows with errors are left out of the table.

How to add the calendar file to your calendar
Tip: make a separate calendar named CancelBy and import into it. When your list changes, you can clear that calendar and import a new file.
Outlook.com or Outlook on the web
- Open Calendar and choose Add calendar.
- Choose Upload from file, then Browse, and pick the file.
- Choose the calendar to add the events to, then Import.
Google Calendar, on a computer
- Open Settings, then Import and export.
- Choose Select file from your computer and pick the file.
- Choose the calendar to add the events to, then Import.
Imported events do not update themselves. When your list changes, download a new file and import it again.
